Cala Millor is a large tourist resort on Mallorca´s east
coast, divided between the municipal districts of
Sant Llorenç and Son Servera; it has more than 25,000 tourist beds in
hotels and apartments. The resort spreads along the coast
and occupies a fair section of the bay on which it lies.
Cala Millor´s main attraction is its long beach, which is
nearly 2 km long and which has a promenade that runs its
entire length. There is a wide range of quality
accommodation available, with most hotels and apartments
located right on the sea front, with a pedestrianised zone
behind them. Many tourists come to these hotels year after
year in order to enjoy their holidays in Mallorca, either
with their families or friends. There are also all sorts of
shops here and a large selection of bars and restaurants, of
which Tià Jass is worth a mention; this restaurant is
located in a unique, modern building on the street of Carrer
Bon Temps. |
